His cloak is substantial and he has long, pulled-back hair. If you saw him on the street you'd assume he was panhandling or peddling chakra-enhancing chewables. Peter and Andrew are identified here as saints, but of course they were only fishermen & sailors at that point. So...probably pretty rowdy. They are pulling a net into their small boat. Peter is wearing blue, and Andrew is wearing a sort of salmon color (these are the 2 basic colors or Christ's ensemble). Andrew looks skeptical, & is likely hoping that the weirdo on the shore will leave them alone. Peter has his hand up, palm towards Jesus, as if to say, "Not today. I don't have any change on me." Neither man knows what's in store for them. This is a picture of late innocence. Meme text reads: "I will make you fishers of men But bring some eels for the road. I'm hungry." NB: I know eels aren't kosher. But the eels don't know that, I'm not trying to be the one to break it to them.

Eels were everywhere in pre-modern England. So if you wanted to explain something, you might put it in eel terms!

For me it is the distinction between colloquial speech (口頭語) and formal-style language (書面語).

Because spoken colloquial Cantonese is usually considered less formal and, therefore, less "serious", with dialect-specific characters like 嘅 in place of 的 (even though you can pronounce 的 as 嘅). Cantonese is perfectly capable of pronouncing the same written Chinese text just like Mandarin, anyway.

Personally I like this one from the bilingual BCP the best!
