I have all of Robotech on Blu-ray. I'm that kind of nerd.

FASERIP always makes for a good time.

My Greyhawk game draws upon the Greyhawk Wars, but with one major change...Iuz is dead (his corpse now held within the Undervault of Greyhawk Citadel). The game kicks off 13 years after the war.

I see empty shelves. The only logical solution is to buy more games.

#DMcraft Prepare to improvise. Having a short list of names and a few encounters hidden up your sleeve just in case the players do something unexpected, which is always. If you don't use those encounters, that's fine, save them for later. It's not wasted work!

If you see this, post a #TTRPG cover that you love.

People out there waiting for somebody else to make D&D <insert whatever they want it to be> when everybody can already make it whatever they want it to be at their table, which is kind of the point of TTRPGs in the first place.

That and it's that the action phase replaces adventure with sit in town for a week making said reward. It's subjective, but that's not what I want in my games.

This loop is why I'm not a fan of magic item creation rules, typically speaking.

#DMcraft It's better to admit you've made a mistake than it is double-down on one. Example, making the wrong ruling or owning up to bad encounter design. "Hey, gang,I messed up. This encounter wasn't intended to be this deadly. <Make adjustment> Integrity plays.

...and add either Loveland or Warren in the draft.

I play it as they knew where you were and that assumes they knew you were there in the first place.

I like rolling in the open. I've even had a player comment how much more terrifying the game is as a result. They've never been worried that I would cheat against them, but they're uncomfortable with the fact that I can't fudge for them.

It's definitely more than any one thing. For me (us, because friends) it's a combination of huge libraries of spells and monsters as well as it's the game we all commonly enjoy. It also hits our sweet spot for just the right level of character customization. Lots of great games out there, though.

At least one player will drink from the cup.

Brussel sprouts are only useful as a medium for far more tasty ingredients to get into your mouth...like garlic and parmesan. It's like celery.
