Getting the EPBC Act right | Biodiversity Council Australia Our factsheet outlines the strengths, weaknesses, and recommended improvements to the Australian Governmentโ€™s proposed environmental law reforms.

Look, what happened to Gough Whitlam was terrible, he was a visionary. But, I'm far more concerned about how terrible @australianlabor.bsky.social are TODAY, especially their pathetic environmental law reform package. Let's talk about the future, shall we?

Will Laborโ€™s environment laws actually address Australiaโ€™s biodiversity crisis? Five reasons to be concerned Experts say the proposed legislation is full of problems, including excessive ministerial discretion and relaxing like-for-like offset rules

Could smaller families 'rewild' the planet โ€” and make humans happier? Many economists and business leaders are raising alarms about falling birthrates. But advocates for lower human populations say a less crowded world will be happier and more sustainable.

Norway struck oil in the 60s. Now it has trillions. This is how Australia compares Norway struck oil in the 1960s. Now, almost a quarter of its national budget is funded through its sovereign wealth fund. How does Australia compare with taxing its resources?

This shows just how stupid, shortsighted, captured and corrupt Australia's political class are, they have torched our potential collective prosperity.

Will they do the same with a rare and precious minerals boom?
