I thought I was done searching this topic a year ago, but here I go again.

To be fair, this is probably what video games look like to people that don't play games.

And a tech dingdong posting about the future of something they don't actually understand at all is... totally on brand actually.

I don't know anything for sure, but I work with software for a living, and if *I* wanted to create a bot to sow confusion then "there's no hope; give up" is an easy message to create. For one thing it doesn't require acknowledging the specifics of the previous post.

Just saying.

Loading your daily, intimate details into a piece of software designed to capture everything and that is susceptible to prompt injection attacks...

I'm lucky enough to have access to two different library systems. I put this on Hold at one, and suggested it for purchase at the other.

This is EXCELLENT.

1) this is spot-on analysis of the problem & a great immediate 1st thing a city can do to improve outcome.

2) as a 2 min clip? He's giving history, hope & change. Speaking to women, to Jewish & Black NYers, saying "abortion." & also naming eugenics in feminism. 100/10 no notes.

I cancelled. And now the price hike isn't making me want to jump back in.

But really, just... why? There wasn't one adult in the room that said, "Let's wait 30 days and announce the hike along with some new content."?

Done and done.

Turning all of these features off as they arrive is _exhausting_.

Think of it like the GW paint method, you prime, base, shade, highlight, varnish. Priming the Documentation is to layout the titles you will cover in this document. Basing the Document is to go back and add chapters explaining what the purpose of those titles are. Shade is when you go back and provide links to and explanations of code. Highlight is when you go back again and add screenshots, code examples, and "considerations" of details you wanted to pull out on that area. varnish is when you go back and review then publish and protect the document within the repo.

JKR is funding life-destroying legislation. When you license HP and put it on your product, the money you pay to do that is literally ruining lives. This isn't ambiguous, it is direct, measurable harm. I will never give a penny to a company who chooses money over the lives of my friends.
