I'll still be posting artwork but don't expect too much out of me. I've got one more character profile to share publicly and then I can basically not be around as much & instead focus on myself.

I didn't write much, make any scenes or progress cuz of my computer's issues & was dealing with my job being a goddamn crime scene.

So no, I'm being patient with myself on this one. I don't care when the show drops. I'm one man making the whole damn thing. 4/5▶️

I'm still so proud of the pilot I've made & it's STILL the one you'll be seeing when I get a chance to push it forward. But I'm no longer gonna rush myself to get this project out.

I was supposed to make progress on the pilot last month...but as we all know, February wasn't kind to me at all. 3/5▶️

The goal was to hopefully have folks sign on as VA's via auditions but I uhhhhhh....didn't get many results with that back in January.

It's fine though. I think I'm gonna just spend time writing the rest of the series before moving forward. 2/5▶️

Not sure how to say this but don't want to formally make an announcement or whatever but uhhhhhhh

IDK when Down By The Pool will come out.

TL;DR take a moment to sit down in silence & reflect on the time that's passed by.

It really does provide some perspective, especially with EVERYTHING happening nowadays.

I've been trying to do stuff or convince myself to make new goals or just...do literally anything. But the truth is, I DID do something today: I gave myself permission to just be.

February was fucking brutal for me on so many fronts & today was the day I clearly needed to reflect on that.

I guess this first day of March is me taking several deep breaths, sitting in silence & just...vibing.

And it wasn't until I did a lot of that earlier today that I realized just how much BS I went through & how much shit has gone down since 2026 began.

I NEEDED this.

It’s been fun sharing my colorful cast for the past month despite everything that transpired in my personal life.

But I must also admit that the lack of engagement with my work on here still affects me.

And with everything going on right now, I’m starting to feel less inclined to post anything.

I never knew that was a sentiment to have but what's wrong with doing art for money? A lot of people do and some people need to stop acting like artists shouldn't get paid because...everyone else in creative fields gets PAID. Obviously, hobbyists don't need to, but you can because you love it too.

I say this as an indie creative: this shit ain't easy & I can only imagine how it is for folks who require financial support to make it something real/bring it to life.

This is why I have no issues supporting as many indie folks/projects as I can.

Indie media (be it comics, TV, animation, video games, etc) all requires time, patience & tons of support.
