Those are valid ASC press photos from '87. I don't believe many were made beyond prototypes. Some got out into the wild. Pics attached to show your info is valid.

However, it's not what's in the dealer picture above from max. That's an obvious fake top - aftermarket item usually seen on US sedans.

It's just one of those fake aftermarket convertible tops done at the dealer level lot of Cadillacs, Lincolns, etc. had back in the day.
