The 911T is somewhat loud inside per the reviews so I figure the highest end system is probably a waste at $6K. Modern Bose units aren't great either [the one in my Mazda3 sucks], but it's only 1% of the 911T's cost and most P-cars are spec'd with it so why not?

(1) On US-spec 911Ts one can opt for cooled seats, but that requires full leather. I prefer dark plaid cloth inserts for feel & aesthetics

(2) Partner has cooled seats in her Lexus. We rarely use them. Even when it's +40°C. Good A/C!

Good spec & color. The RS wheels are basically mandatory & look good on this one. Biggest differences are the seat package, front lift & delivery location - relatively close otherwise.

What's particularly compelling about this choice was how it was a massive upgrade over its predecessor's airbag. The NA driver's airbag is the single worst feature of the car [see below]

Yeah the 90s still had a lot of bad airbag designs. It's why the NA Miatas get the swap regularly to bagless wheel. No one likes looking down and seeing the obvious FoMoCo partsbin bag - it's the giant early '90s Taurus et al bag with a new cover.
