After binge watching Beastars on Netflix a few weeks ago I decided to paint one of the main characters, Legoshi, but in my style. I envisioned him wearing a dapper sort of “Peaky Blinders” attire. I’m still not finished but I had to share my progress so far.

Sitting on a desk is a window shaped wood plaque with a painting started. The painting depicts a beige stoned window around the edge of the plaque. On the center of the plaque is a tiger (without stripes) standing up reaching its front legs up towards a pencil outline of a crescent moon. The background transitions from green at the bottom to a teal and blue at the top. This piece is still a work in progress so colors and blending of the tiger is not smooth and uniform yet.

This piece has been a very slow process. With school and everyday life, I’ve been trying to get in some painting here and there. Tonight I was able to put down the first layers for the big kitty and finally I remembered to actually share some progress.
