Imo three things you can do in undergrad that will probably meaningfully improve your career chances (that aren’t highly contextual where the wind may shift and what’s happening to CS majors rn might happen):

-become statistically numerate

-learn another language

-learn to write well

The FDA has just told Pfizer that they may not renew the approval of their COVID19 vaccine for children for the 2025-2026 respiratory season.

Moderna’s vaccine is only approved for kids with a health condition, so this means there would be no COVID19 vaccine for all kids under 5 years of age.

And the costs!!!! We could just use the safe, effective vaccine and use the money to give uninsured people healthcare instead.
