I guess this would count as a variant of Golf Solitaire (afaik the only solitaire game that uses count up/down rules to move cards), and more accurately a clone of Fairway Solitaire.

I played so much Solitaire and Freecell as a kid.

My best assumption is that my resume (mostly QA, senior design on an indie game) is a poor record of my experience (close integration with all kinds of systems design and implementation for 15+ years).

And that I'm in a blind pick bag with hundreds of other designers.

I'm on month 20.

I know the theory is "apply even if you don't meet all the criteria" but it's hard to muster the bravado when I'm turned down even when I'm overqualified and really excited about the work. 😩
