It seems that with the increase in energy costs due to a large increase in data centers, individuals' cost will increase and as the paper states : "Wages are unlikely to rise when workers cannot push for their share of productivity growth,β which would seem to lead to a decrease in living standards.

This is a lie and straight propaganda by big pot. You are helping to harm many people.
STOP IT!
AI bros will sometimes claim that AI will solve "the scarcity of human minds".
Take a supply-and-demand model though, and you'll realize that that's just another way of saying that knowledge workers are too expensive.
It's all about deskilling
Ingeborg and I wrote a thing about "hype", and why we think that framing AI through that lens is increasingly inadequate - check it out!

Never leave 'rapist' out when mentioning rapist Donald Trump, or rapist President Trump.

The article shows a graph were total emissions dropped in 2020, yet the Mauna Loa Monthly Averages show no drop or slowing of CO2 concentration at that time. There is something happening I don't get: is the emission data wrong, is CO2 coming from another source, or what?
