Tried for some slightly Spiderverse influenced shading. After almost three years painting the exact same way I'm ready for a change.

This is now a Dispatch fan account.
Seriously though, it looks like a fun game and I'm looking forward to it 😄
In the meantime, back to thrashing my son at Mario Kart World until he learns the tracks... and then I'm cooked.

My comic panels rarely tend to work as stand-alone bits of art, but I kind of like this one.

Working on this silly DnD-inspired episode of QE just makes me want to start my new fantasy comic already 😭

Now that the script is done for the final season of QE, my mind inevitably wanders towards the Next Thing. Don't have a lot of time for it yet, but here's some of my early exploratory character sketches!

A da'kor which is a race she created. I made this over a decade ago. It was one of my favorites webcomic series.

She was one of the major influence on my art while in highschool.

I'm doing the final round of edits on Immaterial's print edition and trying to decide if I should resist the urge to tweak some of the art...

Quantum Entanglement Season 2 will be returning on the 23rd of September. I've been working on this season for almost a year and am excited to finally be able to share it soon!

Sadly only books 1 and 2 were printed. Apologies for the outage, the website should now be available again.

About to have an entire month off my day job (long service leave) and I am so looking forward to having time to write my book and do some non-comic art 😭

I'm too busy for bonus art at the moment due to being 100% in comic panel mode, but this is Kai. Kai likes puns and dad jokes.

Coloured that sketch! I think I will always prefer my artwork with that semi-sketchy lineart feel, even with reasonably realistic shading.

I've been in a sketching mood the last couple of days. Working from model sheets for the comic is great for saving time but since I'm almost never drawing the characters from scratch I feel like my art stagnates a little. Freehand, no reference art is good for my soul.

Probably last big painting for a while, wanted to make it special :)

My son kept insisting that his plush octopus named Mimi be put into the comic, so I finally found a way to oblige.

I then had to reassure him that the dog was being very gentle.

Normally I love the rain and storms, but not so much when it starts soaking through the holes in the roof tiles 😅

It's been raining and thunderstorming a lot in Sydney lately. This is fine.

I've been re-doing all my character face templates to make them higher quality, and figured I'd give them a test run. Bonus, it doubles as concept art for a future Season 2 episode!
