Just finished Stranger Things. My 17-year-old son kind of grew up with it in real time, but I did in a strange way, too, as a 1980s D&D player myself.

Alice and I have interacted online and one at least one mutual project but I know her sometimes partner-in-space-archaeology Justin Walsh from in-person meetings. Most American anthropology departments have archaeologists, so that overlap is real.

Just a straight up field report - not much analysis, but I wanted to get it down. One of my astronaut participants brought this to my attention thinking I should know about it.
