It’s the same thing that happened to me when I "hibernated" back in June when Deltarune ch 3-4 released, going off social media except dms in DNIUC

Yeah, I didn’t get to see the artworks and memes (FOMO kicking in) – but it felt relieving and less stressful, in a way

We all know our social media are filled with slime and blob

That’s also true, imposter syndrome is always a “mood killer”
And even if you don’t feel ready, just plan a good part and start, you can always redirect and fix while you’re doing it (ofc don’t overdo it)

I think this goes for all projects, really

- Start with small projects (and make sure to FINISH them)
- Plan out & organize EVERYTHING when starting (one of) your big project
- search 3-5 tutorials online, just to make sure (maybe repeat this last 2 til you’re ready)
- When you feel ready, start!!

I actually really liked this room concept for Berdly (by @chelrambles on twt) so I tried to sprite it.

And it came out absolutely wonderful!

Play it!!! It’s a game full of stories, good written characters and a lot of twits/subversions (>o<)/ (the good ones eheh)

I also love this version of Ralsei, is my favorite one :]

Are they saying this to use gen AI "concept art" for inspiration or ideas that’ll be used for *actual* concept art??

Concept art comes from brainstorming, searching ideas, inspiration, not from regurgitated slop made from a machine

I would’ve also proof-read it

I really feel the word that Seam is searching is "freedom" (or they will be interrupted or even don’t wanna tell)

And the best part is: we still don’t fckin know what their design is (if it does or will even have a design)

I myself have tried both smaller and larger scale of both art types, and I noticed that when placing pixels and make them count it's more on the pixel art side, meanwhile when strokes matter more (like using a bigger brush + w/ a draw. tablet) that's more digital art

I've been aching to answer this question from a long time!

I think pixel art end (and digital art starts) when something is meant to be viewed from afar, so when the whole piece comes together rather than of its individual pixels

This is the last of the year (still for me, eheh), I rlly hope everyone will be better and live better in 2026

I’ve not interacted here a lot this year, but I hope to show all of you what I’ve been working on recently…
