When I was working as an inbetweener, it was something like 12-14 hours a day but nowadays its a lot closer to 8 hours, give or take. I find its definitely more about how you use your time rather than the amount of time. My lineart got a lot better as an inbetweener, but my draftsmanship stagnated.

Btw, I'd be glad to give my input if that's helpful. I work in the anime industry, so I'm used to looking pretty closely at lineart and whatnot. :)

I usually try to lean towards the benefit of the doubt when I have my suspicions cause of how much damage it can do if I were to be wrong. But when it has the look and there's no pre-2022 art, I definitely make a mental note of it. 😬
