Averting war may not have been the goal

In case you’re just waking up, the U.S. has teamed up with Israel overnight to start an illegal war of regime change, apparently on a presidential whim with no involvement of Congress, and they are already committing horrific atrocities.

So we are just going to war and the WH has not offered a single plausible explanation about any imminent threat nor even tried to make one up? At least Bush/Cheney had the courtesy to claim, falsely, there was WMD in Iraq.

This was a premeditated attack with no conceivable emergency: the choice to do this is Congress not President. Waging war on Iran is an obvious violation of the Constitution, no different than enacting tariffs (raising taxes) or defunding USAID (spending programs).
