In your imagination you think removing the gun removes the threat.

The invention of firearms correlates with a huge drop in homicide rates, in all of Europe, this shows your theory wrong.

It's crucial to recognize that a dperson poses a threat irrespective of the specific tool they may use to perpetrate violence. Simply confiscating the tool does not necessarily deter violence; rather, it may prompt the person to seek alternative means to cause harm.

If their behavior is deemed too hazardous for firearm ownership, it raises questions about their suitability for interacting with others in public spaces where safety is paramount. What factors contribute to the justice system permitting individuals deemed dangerous to reintegrate into society?
