Honestly fair yeah. I guess I'd say test it then with your commissioners and the audience. See if they're ok with EUR rates. I think if it's easy to swap from one to the other, then why not try it out and test it you know? It might be that stability you need today if it works 😃

I guess as I think about it? I can be wrong too - it might come down to midterm elections. If it swings the way I think, it'll cause a lame duck and the USD to stabilize. No harm in taking EUR at least until '28 too; If it's easy to swap from one to another, it allows for A/B testing you know?

Ah got ya! I never considered CAD in the equation that's a good point too. I just did it now and looked into it. Over a five year period it seems USD's gained 15 cents on CAD and EUR gained 30.

Granted, we have uh... "Loosely defined as an administration" currently running it 😅 so I see the worry.

This got me intrigued too. I had to Google up both the usd and euro values and pondered for a bit. I'm not sure if it'd be any better or worse honestly. But I also don't have the insights you do in this.

I had a great comment talk with another writer about this. I've found writing for one who has no fire has helped. Writing as an escape for them, however silly or big. That and those like me who smiled on sight at your work. Let's keep the fire back, even for one day, one story at a time.

That's a good way to put it yeah! I'm fortunate enough that I've had a lot of friends, experiences, and memories to help with that. I'm still making those too which helps with the writing, and maybe leaving something good behind too. Thank you as well for the comment it helped me out today!

I am perhaps the most far afield to add to this. The humor isn't lost on me either. I couldn't help it; I feel the same way.

I'm a soft heart: I imagine if I'm in need of escapism, surely another is. So I write for them. However silly their request is, at least it keeps the fire back for a day.
