Funny is it not, that socialised medicine in Australia is 2% levy on our taxable income, collected as we pay tax. Those on low income or who are older may not even pay that at all! When will the US learn that health services purchased by the Gov from taxes/levies is a better way?????

Hi Tony, being in OZ they also call what I call turnips, swedes over here! Very frustrating when my Aussie husb tries to make me call them Swedes!! LOL!!! Noting beats an Irish turnip, candle glowing with menace & the expectation of something coming to get you as your parents tell you stories!!

My father used to do this for us when we were kids in Ireland! Scary!!!! Turnips were massive then, now in OZ they are no bigger than a fist, and a small one at that!! Would not scare anyone!!!!

I am an ASusie & prob had more than most as our Gov thinks keeping up out of the “health system” is cheaper than putting us into intensive care! BTW most of them are free!!

No, the laptop is good for basic but the newer models with better chips that are quicker and do more things! The current 13 inch Macbook air is super fast & would last another 7yrs! U cld even get a cheap extra monitor & run it to have more window space to view ie writing on 1 & research on other.

Never want to Visit the US and most people I know are of the same opinion!

It always amazes me how people think that you should just get over whatever “trauma” is imposed on people by those that want whatever they have!! IE the Irish, it is only 500 years and we are still not “over it”! It still affects how we interact with “others” today!!!
