Twitter, love it or hate it, was the center of a *massive* part of the internet. Politicians, celebrities, companies, content creators, furries, sluts, fandoms, journalists, and so many more gathered there. I don't think that can be recreated.

I left Reddit for Twitter a couple months before it crashed and burned and I had really started to get ingrained into some of the queer culture on there, as well as getting connected to my favorite comic artists and esports players/orgs. Things were really nice and now they're very quickly bad.

I needed one last push to get off Twitter and move elsewhere, and it turns out that push was literally Elon Musk kicking users off the website.
