ive been spending more time recently trying to figure out how other people do stuff like shading

guys ive spent like all day trying to find a color palette for a character design i did not plan out beforehand

i dont like how the rest of the piece is turning out so im just gonna post the sketch here and try again

i wanted to redesign my pokemon oc, his name is siesta and he's a substitute doll

i like how this is turning out a lot better than the first design

hes supposed to be a substitute that was summoned incorrectly... not entirely satisfied with the stomach fur and i didnt finish the hands but ig its good enough for now

ref for my sona, he's a worm on a string... i put way more effort into the fur pattern but the clothes cover most of that up

i've got a slight backlog of art, so i'll post that plus my artfight card for this year
