It's possible that horns are used to sense water currents... for some reason that REALLY makes feelings rise within me, especially around the back of my head behind my ears. So that is something that my horns were for, if it was really true. It's a cool idea!

If I can "feel" horns, they feel almost straight, stubby, and streamlined for swimming so they don't get in the way.

One major problem with being an otherkin dragon is not knowing what your horns were like. You can't "feel" horns. This entire time, the curly horns of Arania were based on the things I was feeling on the sides of my neck which are more likely fins that connect to my cheek/jawline fins.

Phantom limbs and sensations can be chaotic though, so it's not certain whether it is "accurate" or not, since this is still something not really proven by science. But whatever feels the strongest and most "real" is the best design path for my otherkin self in art. <3

I am having a wonderful time doing this and it's really great that you're allowing me to express this weird side of me freely. I hope you also enjoy the fat dragon goodness that is unleashed by me, may it be Spyro or not ~

So, it's possible my wing membranes cover the length of my whole body, forming almost stingray fins, to make swimming through the deep ocean effortless. The things protruding from my elbows and knees are probably tendrils that hold some of the wing membrane. Yes, like a flying squirrel!

I feel fins or things poking out from my elbows and knees. I have no idea what is going on with that. But the closer I get to the truth of my otherkin sensations, the stronger the feelings get, like being drawn to a light. <3

It feels like I can switch between two sets of "front legs". The second set ARE the wings, and I vividly feel the long fingers with the membranes. But then I can feel actual front legs and back legs too. This makes me theorize that dragons can switch off limb function to control back wings.

I feel things sticking out of the sides of my neck. I have for awhile now. It isn't just my neck is really thick and fat... there is legit something, like these fins, sticking out. I've also been trying to figure out whether I have "wings" or not. And I seem to do.

The particular deep sea wyverns, Altumar and Atenis, really seem to hit something deep inside. You can see Atenis below. This is a strange coincidence because I also have a phantom sensation I can't figure out. Like fins at the sides of my neck.

I'm finding myself deeply drawn to the works of zhurzh on Furaffinity. They produce amazing dragon artwork that is full of humanity, but also a level of realism. The deep sea wyverns draw me in and make my otherkin feelings soar like a flying dragon.

I'm exploring my otherkin draconity just a bit more. I'm trying to figure out the phantom limbs and sensations I get, so the design of Arania, my otherkin form, is going to change. So stay tuned for an actually public reference sheet of myself. Dragons are so wonderful and great ~ <3
