Like, I don't know if the game will be any good, but you can tell someone somewhere really wanted to tell THAT story.

I'm incredibly skeptical and not usually one to get roped in by a premise that feels exactly up my alley alone, but something about making a big, expensive-looking 3D action game about that in 2026 does feel just sort of inherently artistically credible.

Pathologic had three playable characters. Pathologic 2 is a "remake" of one character route (that of the character The Haruspex) while Pathologic 3 is a remake of another (The Bachelor).

Though the games are also very meta and time-twisty and self-referential, so they're also sorta direct sequels.
