Today is a reminder to stand up to bullying.
It takes many shapes, from criticizing looks to spreading lies. It can all hurt, and can often perpetuate a cycle of more bullying.
Remember: one of the best ways we can stand up to bullying is by preventing it in the first place with proper supports.

It's a fine line to provide options people want and need but not so many as to overwhelm. Something we plan to keep in mind as we put forward candidates.

We are horrified and heartbroken by the devastating tragedy that occurred in Tumbler Ridge yesterday. That this violence occurred in a school, which is meant to be a place of safety, learning, and hope for the future, makes this all the more painful and difficult to comprehend. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and the entire community of Tumbler Ridge.

In this layperson running the socials account's totally educated parlance on the subject, "Yeesh!"
But yes, it's really not shocking that it would've been a bad, bad idea. Good to see the proof of it.
Really great thoughts in this piece.
Voting in Vancouver should be easy & accessible. Over the coming months, expect us to keep our platforms clear & respectful to everyone's time & "political fluency".
What would you say we've nailed in the past?
Where do you think we can work harder?

It's worth reflecting that some have not learned lessons from our past. We support and champion those who recognize & are constantly seeking to correct such wrongs. There is still work to do.
