Love this way too much and probably the only piece where she looks to some extend fierce.

I'm really thankful to all my friends and Patrons for their support in my silly lil hyperfixations recently. These projects have been a good way to relax after rougher than normal days at work and school. Just wanted to share a small glance at a some of the things I been working on.

It’s something I’ll consider for sure! It’ll be hard to price these since they are essentially 3D models complete with animations and have to work in game, but they are fairly fun to do! c:

Ooo, best of luck! I know I struggled a bit with BB too, partially because the animation side wasn’t working at all, and the Vulpix tails would constantly glitch out. It’s been a test of patience, lol. I’d love to see what you are working on sometime!

Yeh! We got lost wandering for a few 10's of thousands of blocks to find a snowy biome to build ourselves a cozy lil cabin in the snow. We made it work! c:

Took some time this month learning #Blockbench and modeled my and @spikypancake.bsky.social's sonas, with custom animations as well!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

I wish you all the absolute merriest of days! I was hoping to have something ready to celebrate the day, but my PC broke recently and been trying to fix it. But I’ll try and do something before the holiday season is over.

So for now, have a jolly Fen!

Man that would be so nice. Last night I found out what happens when you fill up the boxes, and they won’t even let you throw Pokeballs no more. I’m hoping in Gen 10 we see some advancements in Pokemon storage. I’m sure the living dex, and thus shiny dex, will be huge!

I just don’t get why the limit hasn’t been raised in years when situations like this are far more common than ever since Shinies are easier to get, and data size limitations are no longer a concern. Just seems like they want to sell you the solution later on whenever Home support gets added.

So…! Well, some good and not good reasons. For 1, Pokemon Home eventually rewards you for having a living dex by giving some rare Pokemon. Another is having a shiny living dex is just fun. But also somewhere in my head, shines are still special and rare, despite me having a few hundred in ZA.

I don't get in Pokemon why Game Freak doesn't increase the Pokebox limit past 32 when that'd solve so many issues. I have a living normal and shiny Dex of the base game, plus several boxes of duplicates, and now just can't play the DLC no more cause I can't catch new Pokmon until Home support comes.

It's been really eye opening for sure, even just for knowing what skills you may lack. Dunno if I'll willingly revisit abstract art, mostly just cause it doesn't interest me as non-abstract figural works do, it's a good exercise in how flexible your thinking can be and can recommend just trying it.

-- like the details of light refraction and water droplets on an ice cube. Was really hard for me to think of, but I was really lucky to have a friend who had a very insightful mind for this kind of stuff. It's not perfect, but it turned out a lot better than it would've without everyone's help. ^^

Maybe. It's more that I don't have something to work off of. For example, for a figure, I work from the line of action and some sort of "story" that I am trying to convey. An environment, similarly a story and some focal point. For this, I ended up taking inspiration from smaller things--

Doing this assignment has given me interesting insight into how I think. For art, I see the whole before I see the parts. So when doing something that doesn’t have a defined subject and is made up exclusively of shape, color, and pattern, my brain struggles to put it together. It’s been painful.

Hey! Been hard at work finishing my studies for finals week, but decided to take a lil time to myself today to learn a new skill and design a LEGO MOC of my Minecraft skin the best I could. Designed in Bricklink Studio! Could be a fun new medium to work with.

Also took a quick glance at his work and really enjoy the texture he is able to get from his paints. I'll be honest, I never really understood the "blocks of color" on a canvas approach, but the pallets I've seen, the subtleties of changes in the hues, and the scrappy texture is really nice. Thanks!

I did not consider the context in which my project will be viewed and how that will change how people see it. Since this is a class project, I won't have much liberty in dressing the setting to my liking. But if I can work around it, it could make a much more impactful piece!

For my painting final this semester, I gotta “do a nonfigurative abstract painting that conveys a complex emotion.” Abstract art isn’t really my thing and I’ve been having a hard time wrapping my head around it. By chance, does anyone here have a favorite artist I can check out for inspiration?
