I mean... they hit on that in the sequel... which is easily one of the worst movies ever made.

Do it anyway. Don't worry about it.
Design the game so that its apparent that the way players approach enemies normally won't work. As long as they can see that AND you at least hint how they should approach them, you'll be fine.
