Yeah, last I checked anything released officially is fair use as far screenshots, video clips, or discussions are concerned. So Amazon's current copyright strikes don't make much sense in that regard.

The way I’ve always viewed it that while there is no systemic homophobia in hell, Stolas in his arranged marriage is to a degree a one to one parallel to being in the closet, it’s why he has to compartmentalize himself and he’s out of balance.

Given that Beezlebub, Belphegor, & Leviathan are female, I just assume that the royal demons don't bother themselves too much with such traditions 🤔

Given that it was confirmed that Hell doesn't have institutionalized homophobia, it's not certain yet that the Goetia actually have such patriarchal traditions. The only extrapolations so far is Stella not being as smart or as powerful as her brother and the Ars Goetia itself being a sausage fest.

The thing is that they really only pull this "both are victims" excuse on Stella's behalf. With Stolas, they make no pretense of wanting him dead for HIS actions. So they can EASILY change their tune if the genders are reversed.

Like it's insane to me that people can't fathom that BOTH could be victims, but that's not even the case here. If Stolas tried to hit Stella no one would be going "oh but poor guy is a victim so he's lashing out". Sometimes men are the victims! And there is no justifying it!

It's still wild to me that these people don't see that Stella ended up exactly where she wanted to be, Stolas was just the inconvenience she had to put up with. That's why she and Andrealphus are working so hard to get BACK into that position.

To some people, marginalized status = always incapable of doing wrong

And to some people, being ‘female’ - by which they usually mean being a cishet woman imo - is the most marginalized you can get
