Last night, a (BRILLIANT) musician friend I haven't seen or communicated with in a while texted me to check I was ok. I was touched by her concern & the act of replying to her message & catching her up on things this morning GENUINELY..

Had a blood test yesterday with a LOVELY phlebotomist. She was chatty, kind, laughed at my idiotic banter, was genuinely interested in me, complimented ME on being nice & her vampirism was PAINLESS..!!

The five-minute interaction with her GENUINELY brightened my day. &gave me a MODICUM of hope..
