Fair. I cant help how you feel, but I have seen the art you post and I have always enjoyed seeing it. And im sure I'm not the only one. Things can be hard & sometimes you might feel like wanting to give up or not being good enough, but there are many out there that love what you do.

I know how you feel. I also struggle with that. used to feel bad more often about my art & sometimes still do. But looking back at how I used to draw makes me realize the difference. Even if I think I can't draw faces very well, I am better at it than I was a year ago. Art is smth to do for fun.

Yeah I feel ya. I sometimes feel the same when I see other people's art. Especially when the artist is my age or younger. But I have to remind myself that art is never a straight line and every small mistake is a form of progress.

Cause he'd be too impatient to do a full rutine. "Why waste time on all that? This literally has it all together and does the same thing" he says, as he then gets harassed by judgmental trine mates

I know how you feel.

Poses can be a pain to do. And I still struggle when drawing.

However, nothing in the world is perfect. Everything has a little bit of asymmetry to it. Even faces and backgrounds. Poses that aren't perfect help one improve. And they can guide the eyes in a line of the art

The fact this implies screamer is constantly a metaphor for being at war with oneself is sending me

On one hand: many probably assume it's just him being extra bitchy.
Cause intolerable star carrying is hilarious.
But the idea of star turning 180 and being more tolerable cause he isn't focusing as much on being rude is also funny to think about.
But yeah. He's awful

He needs to get his super rare polish somehow. If it means letting Shockwave borrow his forge for a dumb science project so be it.
Maybe that's why he is drawn short and thick. To hide if he's carrying. Soundwave tired of their shit planning raids around them so star isn't in battle.

-It feels like a way to explore continuity building or aus to escape writing block. has pieces one can start from when they don't know what to do to begin. I wish it was done much better & used full potential, but I would be lying if I said im upset it was made in the first place.

However, because of all those so so many issues, it is very understandable for when I find mutuals or friends that describe how much they hate or dislike it. They're right, it IS bad. It isn't well done & disappointing. But for me? -

Tbh, I like skybound but only in the same way I like tfp. On a creative level, it's technically one of the worst fckin things I have read/watched. With LOTS of issues. But what makes me like it is the potential it has that one can make in fics etc. It is smth disappointing but has good moments.

And yeah. The matrix can also be affected. It was so fckin understimulated by being alone for so long, the first evil thing it felt corrupted it emedietly and it then turned someone into a sycopath just from the sheer amount of >:) it was radiating. My favorite take on the matrix tbh.

Yes. Made me love shockstar tbh. I need to read the comics. But it's so funny to me about how this one wet rat bastard made this scycopath feel emotion to a point he had to theorize he was feeling emotion in the first place XD

For instance, in marvel, the matrix could also affect people's minds & actions. However unlike what it felt like sb was doing, the bot had control of themself too. In Marvel, starscream managed to get thr matrix, but gave it back for he felt like it was trying to make him a better bot, & he hated it

Yeah. I liked the idea that skybound was going for.
It brought back something from Marvel for megatron, where be isn't soley helpless in relying on someone in his alt mode. And the idea of starscream being so unhinged because of a form of shadow play was a fun idea. But it felt like it fell short

I don't mean exactly in regards to megs becoming a hero or anything. But rather he gets to turn a new leaf and we get to see character development where he becomes better for himself.
Starscream we don't see this as often. Like Idw LL & MTMTE, or Earthspark.
Tho that is not an excuse for SB
