Just wrapped up the Dosa Divas demo and, honestly, I already had this wishlisted from the first trailer so this was a nice chance to get a peek at the mechanics, aesthetic and voice and I was super pleased!! Classic console rpg feel with interactivity similar to Mario RPG with timed hits/dodges...

This hack may or may not work IRL. I haven’t actually tried having kids this way. This method does save me some animation work though. And less animations taking up memory.

I ALMOST FORGOT DOSA DIVAS!!! Paper Mario style combat RPG meets a great artstyle that isn't flat and a story around cooking. I know it's in the name, but I hope the full game has more than dosas to cook!

Yeah! It was a bit punishing for that early on in game

There is a difficulty setting in game that can be changed anytime for less difficulty and more difficulty but we wanted to find a reasonable default setting that encourages players to engage with all the systems.

We also noticed during playtesting if the damage done was too little on no-blocks, players would tend to not pay attention to blocking, timing attacks, skill usage, boosts, and play with the same attacks and path of least resistance. I do the same in games. Partial blocking vs no blocking is huge.
