i think superion does have a small list of people he likes hanging out with (defensor, optimus prime, maybe other autobot combiners like raiden), but his style of "hanging out :)" is just standing next to them not saying anything. so if you dont know he does that it can freak people out

Thinking about how Defensor's components (except Blades) all have sirens... and how their sirens and the lightbars would all flick on when he gets flustered/shy/embarrassed. Especially imagining it with Devastator as his partner, and Devs gently teases him about his sirens ratting him out.
