Reworking how my Vergil swords work now, including this new re-worked effect for an old projectile system.
Though the new ability doesn't work 100% how I wanted (R-click entering a stance and L-click activating different effects), it's still viable.

Yeah, Starbound's arms are rigged and posed separately from the rest of the body for smoother animation. Anchored at the shoulder area. Head technically is too, but only one pose is used, so it's more or less pointless. I guess someone COULD rig it to look up/down like the arms do.

Lastly, huh, it's not ALL Nero?
Aensland weapon can be dropped from the ErchiusHorror boss, unlocking the recipe for the outfit parts.
-4 hit combo
-3 charged attack levels
-2 special attack inputs
-1 unique status effect that steals souls on-kill for temporary buffs

Pushing the update now on Steam

Lastly for Nero:
Another new knuckle weapon, the ThunderCross.
A buckler shield with a low block value, but a powerful blast of electrical plasma if you can pull of a tight-timing perfect block.
Homeboy's arsenal is getting pretty stacked!

More Nero stuff:
Felt like FlameClaw and CryoFinger were both a little underwhelming, so I made a fusion of the two in this new knuckle weapon, ThermalStraight.
It's the new hotness, and that's pretty cool.

New IgnitionBlade stuff incoming:
IgnitionBlade2-4 now have access to altered movesets, gaining slam, dash, and upper attacks (depending player position, facing, and walking direction).
IgnitionBlade4 gains the option to charge these inputs for increased damage.

New IgnitionBlade stuff incoming:
Altered IgnitionBlade4 to be a 1-handed weapon (to fit with all previous iterations of the weapon). As such, the AltAbility R-click that was used to change to Gun-Mode is now a Charged L-click input. Run out of Energy or crouch and L-click to revert to Sword-Mode.

New IgnitionBlade stuff incoming: Timing-based inputs during combos now enable added benefits like improved damage and bonus projectiles.
IgnitionBlade4 used to spawn these phantoms normally, but now you need to wait for the purple flash during the wait step. Mashing will get you nowhere.

Pushed an update to Spardan Items today: Version 1.2.0 adds 4 new space encounter dungeons, 4 new demonic monsters, 1 new hostile NPC, and 2 new Ultraquartz consumables. I hope everyone enjoys the great effort put in to this update!

Finally managed to get a functional strafing run coded for monsters. Vanilla Starbound doesn't have a solid grasp on anything that moves while shooting except for the Shockhopper boss, which is weirdly coded. Glad I could figure this one out, because Beelzebubby needed this for her harasser role.

Another monster from my "Spardan Items" mod for Starbound, upcoming on the 1.1.2 update. Beelzebubby is a Harpy with ice attacks, filling a Ranger role as she pelts the player with slowing effects and constant damage output while trying to stay out of range. Sonic Boom~!
