I’ve been reading “You Sound Like A White Girl” by Julissa Arce and she included a portion of this poem, “Mexican American Disambiguation” by Jose Olivarez and probably the best piece on identity I have ever read.

Abolishing ICE is the centrist position here. It’s an illegal, extrajudicial force with no jurisdiction to stop or detain anyone. You’re just asking for the Gestapo to have clear labels.
