DM is great if we're talking about an. embeddable video, Soundcloud, Bandcamp link, etc. (which it would need to be in order for us to share it). Otherwise, email. I'll DM you with that. Thanks!

Hi Warren, I confess that we haven't included material beyond traditional Western harmony. Most of the material we've featured from Asia has been influenced by Western pop or is western-style classical music by Asian composers. However, we're eager to learn more; is it a particular interest for you?
23.02.2025 05:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So glad (relieved is more like it) to be here! Many thanks.

Dozens of guest contributors from around the world have joined our primary curators over the years. Theyβre credited in any way they wish: βanonymous,β a BlueSky or Reddit handle, a full name, etc. We always seek to expand our list of contributors, so please share a tune if you have one in mind!

Our regular visitors are K-12 music teachers looking to augment their lesson plans; academics in the music theory and musicology fields looking for a fun diversion during a coffee break; and plenty of garden-variety music lovers who search our archive by decade, artist, or genre.

Each weekday we consider, categorize, and celebrate one modulating tune. For anyone hoping to sharpen their musical ear, we timeslate the point where a key change happens. We provide some analysis of the music theory at work β but generally avoid a full technical breakdown.

After a start on Facebook in 2011, we added a website in 2017. Our audience: music fans who adore harmonies and chord progressions -- most specifically key changes, which
@pitchfork.com calls a βharmonic dodge-and-feint β¦ among the sweetest dopamine hits that music is capable of producing.β

Hello all,
An overdue introduction: After leaving a busy life over on #MusicTwitter for years (leaving for all the usual reasons), we're happy to be here on BlueSky.
We're probably(?) the largest collection of tunes featuring key changes, dating from 1709 through the early 2020s (so far).

Spotify's biz model requires the care and feeding of a billionaire CEO. You do the math.
Other platforms feature artist payouts up to 12x - 13x higher than Spotify's.
Is that good enough? Hell no. But nothing will improve as long as a near-monopoly is in effect
