Or is it using a double layer of binding everywhere somehow?

Bias binding pinned to a part-made garment next to an open instruction booklet
Is this "put the middle of the bias binding at the stitch line"? I can't make sense of it without knowing the binding width otherwise. Next step has you trim to ΒΌ"/5mm so presumably half your bias needs to be at least twice that so that the remainder is enclosed when it's all folded to the inside.

I've not got to the skirt yet. This is a hopefully wearable muslin to check my fit adjustments. No style changes.

Assembled back of a homesewn dress with overlapping pieces forming a diamond shaped hole. The dress is sewn in plain dark grey cotton fabric.
The back of the Deer & Doe Belladone is as pleasing to put together as I expected.

Breakfast on a table mat. A plate holds two slices of brown soda bread toast. A separate small bowl holds scrambled egg with a sprinkling of ground black pepper on top. A teaspoon lies next to the bowl.
Egg in a bowl feels like something people on the internet might like to hate/question/try.
My toast might be underdone but it didn't lose any crispness this way.
