The Pacers had 162 points with two minutes to go against the Wizards, and then took three straight shot-clock violations rather than add to the destruction. Almost seems worse than trying to get to 170. Almost.

Something like that, I have no clue what Memphis would be looking for in a deal
Maybe a Smart+asset for Cam Johnson kind of deal, with Smart then getting rerouted somewhere that can give BKN another asset that they're looking for?
I keep trying to find a Smart destination between the contenders or hopefuls like Milwaukee, Denver, LAL, Dallas, Cleveland, Sacramento...just kind of a weird salary for a lot of teams, especially when Memphis doesn't exactly need more depth

This is what I think the "SAS needs to go for it" crowd misses
Each improvement by the Vassell/Sochan/Castle core not only gives more space for Wemby+other 2 to play as they are, but also a better context to improve in
Plenty of trades make sense, but they really could get better internally QUICK

Feeling pretty good about my preseason "All-Pessimistic" bets
- PHI u51.5 (-105)
- PHX u46.5 (+105)
- PHX miss the playoffs AFTER play in (+175)
That last one was a bit of a stretch, but there was so much that could go wrong with these two teams...and we've seen it play out

"full-speed wraparound pass ten feet in front of the roller from the logo" is a pretty crazy recommendation, even watching it from home. Can't imagine seeing/feeling that pass on the court
I'm sure there are more than a few passes Green should be seeing+making, but this is not one of them lol
That fake step back looked like the hundreds of thousands of actual step backs Harden has taken over the last decade plus, what a freaking move

I was reminded of this during Christmas when my grandma, in my house, suggested we give my nine month old whiskey for his teeth because he was crying
He had an ear infection, that we were days into a prescription for
Wild that "throw some 40%ABV at the baby" was a serious suggestion
The idea that someone gave the green light to equate Spastic or Hyperactive with the rest of that title is insanity lol

Got it. I was going off of "player who was on rosters that were mid" when I guessed Jimmy, especially knowing Chicago and Miami are at the top as teams...never would have put Jimmy in a "mid winning percentage as a player" group
Ingram Beal CJ and Drummond though, that tracks lol
Assuming this is for games the player played in, not just based on the team's record in the seasons they were there?
Because sheesh this is a damning group of players that include some guys I fight for lol
Jimmy is going to be on there a lot and I can't tell if it will help or hurt his "legacy" case lol

12.01.2025 23:23 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Next question is, what players have been on the most mid teams over the last 10 years???
12.01.2025 23:21 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Spurs in 2015 I suppose as well, but that's almost a case for my argument too considering that season didn't fall in this chart...and they were mid until the last two or three years, and look what happened!

Went for 10 teams 10 seasons, but you're absolutely right that was a bad way to do it
But that 9-15 also includes CHA, ORL, PHX, and POR lol so could have made an even better point!
The 10 most mid teams of the last 10years have 0 titles, and I'm guessing more years missing the playoffs than getting beyond the first round
"Mid teams finish mid" isn't exactly analysis, but when you've been mid for half of a decade? That's a pattern, and somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy
The Sixers having zero is absolutely perfect lol oh my goodness
