The government isn’t the issue. Your issue is that your employer may not appreciate the things you say and may want to not keep you as part of their company because of it.

And I think they should have every right to make that decision.

Good luck with that. I think employers should get decide who works for them. They should be allowed to fire anyone without reason. It's their company, after all.
