I managed to win the bow by shooting the apple in Eminence, KY a few weeks ago. Cathartic in a way.

He carries an empty birdcage on the end of a pole that he says is "for the ghost," and enjoys decorating it based on the season or holiday.

Not too bad for 12 weeks of progress. 285kg and 287.5kg (barely missed 297.5 on my 3rd at the second meet)
