18.02.2025 12:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A long shot question. We want to reproduce a David Hockney drawing in our collections. I've submitted the official online form a number of times over the last few months but have had no reply. Does anyone know how we could pursue this as there are no other contact details on the Hockney website.

So exciting to finally see the pile drivers at work on our Hertford College Library & Archive Redevelopment. It's taken a long time to get to this point!

An early photograph of Hertford College students from 1879
Today is the 150th anniversary of Hertford College Oxford. Hertford is the successor to the medieval Hart Hall & to Magdalen Hall which became Hertford College in 1874. These institutional twists & turns have led to 3 parallel collections which can be a challenge to cataloguer & researcher alike!

Common to see men signing their names at the front of these domestic account books but rare to see female names. Suspect that Katherine Wintborne & Rebecka Lewing did the invisible laundry & bedmaking!
