yes that's what i meant. like it's very obviously CGI and not AI that they're using, stranger things has always used CGI.

everyone is so quick to assume bc a movie or show creates something that doesn't look real it must be AI, but CGI is common practice and has been for years.

i know AI use has been on the rise in media but CGI has been a thing since like the 60s or 70s and it allows artists to have complete control and flexibility with their work. sure, some movies or shows might incorporate AI to speed production or save money but a lot of the time it just looks... bad.
