Thought for Elections Canada: If you have two returning officers handing out two ballots to two people at a time, why do you only have one voting booth for one of those people to vote at while the other stands there waiting?

Did they delete the account or are they just blocking anyone critical of @rachelgilmore.bsky.social’s firing?

Looks like @ctvnews is hiding from all of bad press they’re getting.

Meanwhile in Canada gas prices are down and eggs have never gone up.

The guy who showed up at the office door to try to talk me into an Amazon business account didn’t know how to respond to “I prefer not to make billionaires richer until they start contributing meaningfully to society” as the reason I wasn’t interested.

They are not mutually exclusive things unfortunately.

None of which changes the statement that there is a certain futility in negotiating an agreement with someone who is a liar who will ignore the agreement on a whim and doesn’t care about the legality of his actions.

Literally nothing about what I said implies that I’m concerned about the direction Carney will take us.

I questioned the value of any agreement, necessary or not, with a known liar who breaks his agreements on a whim.

I mean, he is already the PM. The election will determine if he stays the PM.

Given that it is Trump who violated the USCMA that he negotiated and signed in 2018, what is the value of new agreements that he will likely ignore at will in future? How do we trust an agreement with a President who has proven himself to be untrustworthy?

To be fair, it was largely the authoritarian take over to the south and the constant threats of annexation that united Canadians like I’ve never seen before. So at least he’s accomplished one good thing.

My grocery cart is full of food from so many countries. And nothing from the US.
