๐ค Mixed bands. Shared stages. Real connection.
This is what it looks like when music connects.
And this is why we do what we do.
With the support of partners across Europe and our methodology developed in Mitrovica Rock School, these young people are doing more than playing music. They're rewriting whatโs possible.

Now, he helps run the school, offering new generations the same chance: to think differently, to feel safe, and to express who they are, all through music.

In a divided city once shaped by conflict, Emir found belonging through music.
As a teenager, he walked into Mitrovica Rock School just looking for rehearsal space. What he found was a second home, one that brought young people from all sides of a divided city together.

In Myanmar, just weeks after the 7.9 magnitude earthquake, a group of local musicians got together and went into affected areas.
We stand with the growing call for Keti Koti to be formally recognized as a national holiday in the Netherlandsโbecause true freedom means confronting and acknowledging the full truth of our shared past.
๐Today, we pause, we remember, and we celebrate freedom.
It is a moment to reflect on the violence of colonialism and slavery, and to honor the resilience and strength of those who resisted and survived it.
01.07.2025 18:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0As an organization working for peace and inclusion through music, we believe in acknowledging the histories that shape our societies and in standing in solidarity with communities affected by injusticeโpast and present. Keti Koti is part of that history.

It marks the abolition of slavery in Suriname and the former Dutch Antilles in 1863, and is a powerful day of both remembrance and celebration of freedom.

Last month, the Palestine News Network visited our project in Bethlehem, and reported on our work with the children living in and around the city.

It was incredibly moving, as you can see from the video above.
Again, a huge shoutout to Myanmar Jazz Club for their efforts in providing relief through music for so many victims of the earthquake. Our hearts are with you all ๐
The workers found out that his father was a very talented guitarist, so asked the boy if he knew any of the songs his father used to sing to him.
He said yes, and was invited onto the stage from where the workers were giving sessions, and sang that song for the whole community.
Another very precious moment happened in Myanmar.
Relief workers trained by Musicians Without Borders found a small boy at one of the camps for internally displaced people, who had tragically lost his father in the earthquake.
