Yes, it was horrifying and humiliating, like watching little children who won't stop throwing fits in front of the guests.

Those with exorbitant power and wealth have a tendency to use their power to stack the economic odds in their own favor to collect more wealth while peddling the message that their wealth will somehow trickle down to the working class.

But it never quite trickles down, does it?

I grew up hearing from my working class extended family that government is the problem and needs to be downsized.

I don’t think they anticipated corporate corruption and pillaging of the working class by billionaires as the other side of the pendulum swing.

Honest question: Why "tax the churches"? Is the sentiment that Christian nationalism is given too much freedom? I agree, BUT... are we also taxing mosques, synagogues, other religious nonprofits? Don't most of these orgs supplement what gov't can't completely cover?
