Could clean the place kicking up a bit but tough conditions tbf.
07.12.2025 19:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is one of the best performances Iβve seen from an Edinburgh ten in years.
07.12.2025 19:04 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Felt very much like βIβve made a couple errors already, let me do something big to make up for itβ instead of just doing the simple and obvious thing.
07.12.2025 18:24 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Name a more iconic combo than Scottish backs and not passing on a 2 on 1.
07.12.2025 18:14 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Bringing a bit of energy now tbfβthose opening sequences were scary though, and set line out looks typically shaky.
07.12.2025 17:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Edinburgh evidently determined to get home asap right here.
07.12.2025 17:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0And I say again β¦ how will they enforce this?!? Do trans women have two heads? Will there be people there to βdenounceβ anyone who - subjectively - βlooks a bit too much like a βfellaββ?!? The sheer crassness of it β¦
06.12.2025 13:12 β π 36 π 15 π¬ 2 π 1But you donβt really care for fish sauce do you? πΆ
06.12.2025 06:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Have you gone to any of the autumn games recently? Very good camaraderie with Boks fans whenever theyβre in Edinburgh. Gotta remember social media is not real life.
04.12.2025 18:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Few minutes at the end.
30.11.2025 17:40 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A line graph shows the time series of Arctic mean surface temperature anomalies for each October from 1850 through 2025. There is a long-term increasing trend and large year-to-year variability. The mean surface temperature anomaly in October 2025 was 3.78Β°C for this region. Anomalies are computed relative to a 1910-2000 climate baseline. All data is from NOAA/NESDIS/NCEI NOAAGlobalTemp v6.0.0 on this graphic.
A line graph shows the time series of Antarctic mean surface temperature anomalies for each October from 1850 through 2025. There is a long-term increasing trend and large year-to-year variability. The mean surface temperature anomaly in October 2025 was 1.43Β°C for this region. Anomalies are computed relative to a 1910-2000 climate baseline. All data is from NOAA/NESDIS/NCEI NOAAGlobalTemp v6.0.0 on this graphic.
Was there any coverage of the recent record warmth in both the Arctic and Antarctic? Multiple global datasets now confirm these records, and I think it's really quite striking.
Here's some very quick plots showing NOAAGlobalTempv6 data from October too. And see my earlier posts.
This is exactly what I said would happen when I analysed the NHS 10 year plan. Clever words are hiding the reality-people are agitating to pull as many services out of hospitals as possible. Why? Because itβs a lot easier to privatise services that wayπ¨

Signal Stop, Near Horsley John Burnside Smoke in the woods like someone walking in a silent film beside the tracks. A shape I recognise β not smoke, or not just smoke, and not just snow on hazels or fox-trails from the platform to the trees, but winter, neither friend nor stranger, like the girl I sometimes glimpse at daybreak near the crossing, in a dress of sleet and berries, gazing at the train.

Itβs a real βwhat are we scared of losingβ scenario. Feels like itβs gone way beyond the βweβre about to turn the cornerβ vibe weβve had fed to us for four years or so now.
17.11.2025 17:06 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Being at the game and seeing him in action too, Iβd say he was run off his feet and possibly still not fully recovered from the leg injury last week. At some point Townsend has to stop talking about depth and use it.
16.11.2025 22:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I don't do this so much these days but a poem for a Sunday. Leaves by Derek Mahon, from this beautiful book.
16.11.2025 21:41 β π 10 π 2 π¬ 1 π 1A book I will one day get my hands on!
16.11.2025 21:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Talent not depth. Townsend created a deeper team (does he trust enough?). Amazingly this team couldβve (shouldβve?) beaten the ABs and shouldβve won today and most pundits wouldβve said no Zander no win. Rae and MM were brilliant. Mentality from the top has to be the big question.
16.11.2025 19:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think this is a little unfair. Iβd say Sione (and the partnership with Jones) and Zander are world class in their positions. But youβre right mainly, most of the rest are βon their dayβ players.
16.11.2025 19:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The team he inherited were essentially a World Cup semi finalist also. I know I know calls go for and against you, but world rugby basically said that team were a SF wc teamβ¦
16.11.2025 18:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Deserved. The BBC Scotland pod is so disappointingly uncritical. A serious rugby nation would be hammering this team right now.
16.11.2025 18:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes okay, was saying similar from my seat watching him trying to recover kicks a couple times. Just generally sick of a lot 20-30-40 min spells getting boiled down to individual errors or one βgame changingβ mistake.
16.11.2025 17:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Mate youβre missing the point, every year is our year, itβs all about the hype train not the result!
16.11.2025 17:44 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1Think he gave the bench players a Red Bull before they went on, figured weβd have that sorted.
16.11.2025 17:41 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Everyone was blaming Kinghorn last week, now everyone blaming Finn. Takes a team mentality to meltdown repeatedly for 40 mins at a time surely.
16.11.2025 17:37 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0If an error like that is all it takes for this team to meltdown from 21-0 than the problems are bigger than one mistaken pass.
16.11.2025 17:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Toonie needs to go. Blame Finn as the easy way out but no team meltdowns like that if theyβre coached well.
