No it’s not—if they’re going to be pushing these new kicking rules you have to penalize people who are clearly second to the ball. He was going for the ball sure, but he was miles off getting it. If that’s not penalized we’ll just get more moments like Arundell last week.

Agree entirely—it’s also the issue with going overly high on the “he’s the savior” narrative way too early, not his fault either. Many of the same folk shaming him now will have been the ones saying he must start for the Lions as he’s the best 10 in the NH off the back of a handful of tests.
