Could clean the place kicking up a bit but tough conditions tbf.

This is one of the best performances I’ve seen from an Edinburgh ten in years.

Felt very much like “I’ve made a couple errors already, let me do something big to make up for it” instead of just doing the simple and obvious thing.

Name a more iconic combo than Scottish backs and not passing on a 2 on 1.

Bringing a bit of energy now tbf—those opening sequences were scary though, and set line out looks typically shaky.

Edinburgh evidently determined to get home asap right here.

And I say again … how will they enforce this?!? Do trans women have two heads? Will there be people there to ‘denounce’ anyone who - subjectively - ‘looks a bit too much like a ‘fella’’?!? The sheer crassness of it …

Have you gone to any of the autumn games recently? Very good camaraderie with Boks fans whenever they’re in Edinburgh. Gotta remember social media is not real life.

Was there any coverage of the recent record warmth in both the Arctic and Antarctic? Multiple global datasets now confirm these records, and I think it's really quite striking.

This is exactly what I said would happen when I analysed the NHS 10 year plan. Clever words are hiding the reality-people are agitating to pull as many services out of hospitals as possible. Why? Because it’s a lot easier to privatise services that way🚨

It’s a real “what are we scared of losing” scenario. Feels like it’s gone way beyond the “we’re about to turn the corner” vibe we’ve had fed to us for four years or so now.

Being at the game and seeing him in action too, I’d say he was run off his feet and possibly still not fully recovered from the leg injury last week. At some point Townsend has to stop talking about depth and use it.

Talent not depth. Townsend created a deeper team (does he trust enough?). Amazingly this team could’ve (should’ve?) beaten the ABs and should’ve won today and most pundits would’ve said no Zander no win. Rae and MM were brilliant. Mentality from the top has to be the big question.

I think this is a little unfair. I’d say Sione (and the partnership with Jones) and Zander are world class in their positions. But you’re right mainly, most of the rest are “on their day” players.

The team he inherited were essentially a World Cup semi finalist also. I know I know calls go for and against you, but world rugby basically said that team were a SF wc team…

Deserved. The BBC Scotland pod is so disappointingly uncritical. A serious rugby nation would be hammering this team right now.

Yes okay, was saying similar from my seat watching him trying to recover kicks a couple times. Just generally sick of a lot 20-30-40 min spells getting boiled down to individual errors or one ‘game changing’ mistake.

Mate you’re missing the point, every year is our year, it’s all about the hype train not the result!

Think he gave the bench players a Red Bull before they went on, figured we’d have that sorted.

Everyone was blaming Kinghorn last week, now everyone blaming Finn. Takes a team mentality to meltdown repeatedly for 40 mins at a time surely.

If an error like that is all it takes for this team to meltdown from 21-0 than the problems are bigger than one mistaken pass.

Toonie needs to go. Blame Finn as the easy way out but no team meltdowns like that if they’re coached well.
