Don’t know about the A300, but the 767 can exhibit a significant nose-up tendency when the ground/flight spoilers deploy on touchdown. That, plus control inputs intended to arrest the sink rate for the second contact, could’ve easily led to a tail strike.

Like the concepts “War on Drugs” and “War on Crime” don’t experience “mission creep?” I’d wager that’s a big reason for the name change. Our “warfighters” can now wage “war” on whatever is deemed “war” worthy, *wherever* that is supposedly taking place. Cue the next blue city/state “emergency.”

What are the charging ports charging? There are many instances of laptop battery fires, too. We need a more effective way of extinguishing these fires while inflight. Batteries should incorporate robust circuitry to detect internal damage, and abnormal charging rates or temperature changes
