I’m sure there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for all five of the things we currently know about

That’s a campaign slogan that’s gonna lead to a lot of pearl jam

Incidentally I tried to use Gemini for a transcription task and wheeeeew it was wildly prone to hallucination. Didn’t realize how behind anthropic they were

two weeks roughly corresponds to estimates of breakout time starting from 60% and enriching further if they sprinted to finish. I would read this as "we had no indication they were sprinting to finish or starting to"

Iran's strategy had been to reduce that breakout period extremely slowly, without trying to sprint to finish, to avoid... all this.

IIRC two weeks was the basic estimate of their breakout period if they suddenly stepped on the gas to build one, given the material they've already enriched, but we didn't have any specific evidence they were doing that.

what resource expenditure does it take from the adversary's perspective and can you be sure that you're increasing the violence above baseline if you're taking this scattershot approach?

or actual communities of people that exist and prey on those same people to scam them out of money. verified by Molly Shah

they'll have to compete with AI tools that search for those same people and create communities designed to scam them out of money

I don’t think terry believes that! Just a straightforward “they should get to take it by force because it’s nearby”

He reminds me of a cartoon character but I can’t quite put my finger on which one. Maybe Thompson and Thompson from tintin?

I wrote a paper as an undergrad on that quite a long time ago and landed on starting the history around the 1920s and all the fights with British oil interests

There were a few too many moments in the campaign that left me scratching my head about her strategy and message discipline in a competitive primary in a giant state for a us senate seat. She’s extremely talented and small missteps dont matter near as much in lower profile races.

Imo, if Crockett got into the race much earlier and spent as much on conventional ads, and did it earlier, she’d probably have won. The former VP endorsed her! It was winnable for her and her approach to the campaign is prob why she didn’t win.

IMO you’d get better mileage out of Claude code for this

Don’t discount Collins’s strength but I think it’s a winnable seat this year if he isn’t the nominee. He’s going to get beat over the head (rightfully) w this stuff. I don’t think I’d vote for him if I lived there
