One of the most prolific thrash metal bands, Overkill. I'm going with their most recent live album, Live in Overhausen. I feel like they're a bit underrated in thrash; I don't often hear them mentioned. #Overkill

NWOBHM time with Tygers Of Pan Tang. Live Blood is the choice. This is actually their most recent album from 2024. Love this band! #TygersOfPanTang

Lacuna Coil and the album Live From The Apocalypse. This is an interesting one as this live performance was streamed during the pandemic. So there is no audience in front of them. They sound amazing though. #LacunaCoil

Live Killers by Queen to start the morning. This was the first live album in their discography. I think it's their 8th record released so it sounds like a greatest hits live album. #Queen

Keeping the eclectic vibe going with Paul McCartney and Wings. Wings Over America is the album that I decided upon. I don't listen to Wings much but it's crazy how many of these songs I know. #PaulMcCartneyAndWings

Changing it up with Talking Heads. Live album is Stop Making Sense recorded in late 1983. This is right at the height of their mainstream popularity. #TalkingHeads

Going to listen to some Slipknot. Day Of The Gusano (Live) is the album. This recording was Slipknot's first concert appearance in Mexico. Love this band! #Slipknot

This band is just so good, Soilwork. Live choice is Live in the Heart of Helsinki. Melodic Death Metal at its finest! #Soilwork

Now for another favorite of mine, Deadbolt. If you haven't listened to them you are in for a treat with some great Psychobilly! The live album is Live at the Wild at Heart Berlin (21st Nov. 2009) So good! #Deadbolt

On to some more Gothic sounds with The Damned. The live album is also a concert film, A Night of a Thousand Vampires: Live in London. #TheDamned

I have a deep love for this band, Siouxsie and the Banshees. The live album is Nocturne. Here is an interesting tidbit that you may or may not know, Robert Smith from the Cure is on guitar for this. #SiouxsieAndTheBanshees

A very underappreciated band outside of the doom and power metal scene. Cirith Ungol with the album I'm Alive (Live at Up the Hammers Festival). I think a lot of bands in the NWOTHM scene are very familiar! #CirithUngol

Let's have some fun this morning with Fu Manchu. The album is Go For It...Live! and it is a ton of fun. Stoner rock at its fuzziest and finest. #FuManchu

Now on to some Twisted Sister from the early days. Live at Hammersmith is the album. Pretty good track list on this one. #TwistedSister

Moving on to a band that has a revolving door of band members, Masters of Reality. The live album is How High the Moon: Live at the Viper Room. This band is often associated with the Desert Rock genre. #MastersOfReality

I cannot express how sad I am at Ozzy's passing. But I take comfort in all the incredible music that we still have. Here is a live album that I was so excited for in 1993, Live & Loud. Time to crank it up! ##OzzyOsbourne

I'm starting today with The Moody Blues. The live album is Live At The Isle Of Wight. My uncle passed away this week and this was one of his favorite bands. This one's for you Uncle Ron! #TheMoodyBlues

Doom or Drone metal is up next with Bongripper. Satan Worshipping Doom (Live At Roadburn 2012) is the choice. This absolutely has that Drone sound going on fully throughout. #Bongripper

A little Rage Against The Machine now. Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium is the album. It marks the end of an era as the band broke up not long after this recording. #RageAgainstTheMachine

How about getting into some Trouble. Live album is Live Bootleg 1983. "Bootleg" as it was the band's recording before they were signed. And it was sold by the band! #Trouble

An often unheralded influential band, S.O.D. with the album Live at Budokan. Incidently not recorded at Budokan but in NYC. #SOD

How about some metal from Germany with the band Accept. Staying A Life I think captures them at their most popular. Plus who doesn't want a 10 minute version of Balls To The Wall. #Accept
