A walk along the Missouri River this afternoon. The only way to get to the river on this stretch is by crossing these tracks.

60˚ F on February 27th. Not normal.

I love chatting with strangers, even when I’m overseas. Some chats lead to the 6 degrees of separation; we end up having some connection. 😁

From my archives.

I don't spend a lot of time in airports, however when I have, I find myself wondering about all the others that pass me by, or bump me. Airports can be a melting pot of our human population. I've had some fascinating conversations with strangers.

This is from Roques de GarcΓa on the southern slope of Teide in Tenerife. Some of these rock formation were once part of the inner rim of the volcano and they've obviously been exposed here for quite some as you can clearly see the wind erosion. This was a hot day up around the slope and packed with people. The very next day the area was covered in snow but we couldn't go back to see it as the roads were closed.

Some rock formations from the slopes of Teide in Tenerife. A very dry, parched landscape.

I remember school camp in Koroit and visiting Tower Hill. I was in awe, knowing it was a dormant volcanic crater.
