#ClaneLib was delighted to receive a visit from young local author Cai Murphy who is a 4th class pupil in Scoil Bhride, Clane. Cai has just published her first book, 'The Fairies of the Enchanted Forest'. The book is a magical collection of adventures starring Summer, Lily & Cai. 3 Fairies who have elemental powers. Together they protect the Forest from two mischievous fairies, using courage, kindness, and a little sparkle of magic. Cai is a proud dyslexic story teller who brings imagination and heart to every story she creates. Congratulations to Cai on such a wonderful achievement. 'The Fairies of the Enchanted Forest' has been added to the library catalogue and is also available to borrow from Clane Library.

We had Kilteel Eadestown Comhaltas for #CultureNight in Newbridge library & the night was alive with the sound of "seisiún ceoil gaeilge". We were also given a little snippet of the history of each instrument used. Thanks you to all who joined us in celebrating Culture night.
