listen i love ao3 as much as the next guy but ive seen people quit fic writing over the past few years because people comment and engage with authors way less, and then everyone still freaks out when ao3 goes down- if a fic is irreplaceable to u, let the author know!

Only to have it slapped in their faces ag like 2:30am after one hell of a bad nightmare (war flashback) makes it blatantly obvious that FA remembers, and more so than either expected him to for his age.

It would probably be a shock to sudden be called by name after being called carrier for so long.

FA never making any direct indication that he remembered, only showing faint familiarity with certain mechs and being medically capable so Ratch and Drift treat him like any normal kid. They wouldn't want to push the memories or a past persona onto him if that's not who FA wants to be/is. +

I haven't been all that updated to the game market lately 😅 too engrossed in Animal Crossing, but I've been thinking about potentially buying some old games like God of War: Ragnarok (PS), Cult of the Lamb on the switch and maybe Mario Kart 🤔 cuz who doesn't love a good game of Mario Kart 😁

All fanfic writers deserve better. These ppl who demand, claim to love but only spread negativity are the same ones that get mad when updates stop or start pestering about updates again, all while not realizing they're the whole reason why fanfic writers stop sharing their fics online

Now he gets to actually experience being young, growing and maturing slowly, and not just being useful to the Autobot cause.

But also, imagine the occasional nightmare he has about the war even as a child 😭 unable to process them or the memories cuz he's so young

I think Ratchet and Drift also want to make sure he had a proper childhood, a peaceful one, too since FA didn't get that the first time. Firstly, he was cold constructed, secondly, it was during the war so wasn't much time to be anything but a medic. He had to be an adult right away 😢 +

He got see just how hot Ratchet was sparked first hand and realized he really, really likes Ratchet sparked (and being a sire but that's just a bonus tbh) so yes, he definitely put another sparkling in Ratchet the moment he got the go ahead 🤭😏

But also imagine first responders thinking Drift was the one to spring into action and being the hero of the day and he just has to hold up a scowling First Aid and explain to them it was actually the toddler

The way I just imagined Drift saying that with the most deadpan "yeah, this is happening" kinda voice and just went into a full on cackle lmao cuz yeah, ain't explaining that full story when ppl are dying. Just listen to medically trained doctor lol 😆
