Whenever I come home it takes a second to remember that everyone here treats each other like you were childhood best friends and ran into each other as they are scanning your purchase.

Leaving social media (other than checking this app every 4 months) has done wonders for my mental health. Even on here I made a list of “friends” and mostly just check that list. But I also understand it’s a privilege to not have my work tied to my socials, or my socials be my work.

It was an absolute pleasure designing this set for the World of Warcraft “Midnight” announcement. The Devs and the whole team at Blizzard were a joy to work with. Can’t wait to go back this week and get the space ready for the Midnight Q&A stream on October 1st!

Silver lining: Times of great tragedy and turmoil often produce the best art. I look forward to the artists who will define this period in history. They have the opportunity to unite us and communicate to future generations what it was like to be alive in this moment.

We even had a guy once who was checking out a room in a house nearby. Didn’t even live there. Heard the music and just let himself in. We didn’t even know this happened until years later when he was actually invited to one of our parties and told us the story of the first time he was at our house.

Honestly, take it as a compliment. Everyone was so in the moment that hardly any of the audience were taking pics/videos. I’ll never forget looking out at that crowd, and then looking over at all of us on stage and seeing nothing but smiling faces living in the moment. Mission fucking accomplished!
